Its been far too long since I have updated this blog, almost a year in fact. So much has happened in that time. A whole season of farming, producing and harvesting has gone by and a new season is upon us. Where does the time go and how much living we pack into that time. We had a most wonderful year of visitors from so many parts of the world here to share in the Ironwood experience. We were so fortunate to have some of our overseas relatives here to spend some time with us. There were nephews, nieces, cousins and our brother and wife. The wwoofers came from all across the globe and each and everyone was a pleasure to host. Our SOIL apprentice for the year was a wonderful, wonderful young man who became a dear and cherished friend. He made sure that music and good vibes kept us all in good spirits and naturally high. The farmer's markets were well attended at both Courtenay and Tofino. It is such a pleasure to be participating in such wonderful community events that support local grown and produced foods. Our customers are the best ! We so appreciate all your support and your thanks and encouragement keep us doing what we do. We grow good food with the help of good people for good people.
So here goes another year of adventures, growing food and harvesting tales. Join us and be part of the story telling .
